Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Santa Fe South

Most hotels are much lower and up to expectations at best. This hotel is far above expectations! The rooms are recently remodeled with good craftsmanship, comfortable bed and spotless bathroom/shower. Cleanliness is very important to us and the place was immaculate (is not unusual to find fingerprints or worse in hotels) Attention attentive and the best breakfast! Freshly-made omelette, good coffee and fruit.

Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. There is no elevator to reach the second floor. Staff were very nice. Very close to a shopping center and other businesses for food or shopping.

Surprisingly nice hotel! Lobby, breakfast area & rooms very clean. Comfortable beds. Freshly prepared eggs or omelets for breakfast along with standard breakfast items. Staff was very pleasant & welcoming. Great price. Great for an overnight stay. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Nice Hotel stay with clean rooms and facilities in a great location. Rooms were spot clean and furnished nicely. Friendly staff. Clean breakfast area. The breakfast area is a little small. Overall it's a great stay.

Literally the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. This is not a joke, the room did not have a speck of dust. Not behind the TV, on any window ledge, not behind the coffee maker... Bathtub was really nice, water was hot, completely body wash so I could enjoy a bubble bath. We stayed here one night, the week before Christmas. Guy at the front desk was very kind. Our bed sheets smelled CLEAN AND FRESH. Like they had just been taken out of the dryer. And there was even a folded toilet paper rose on our roll of toilet paper. I could not find one negative thing to say, except it appears they do not have a public access elevator, but they had handicapped access doors... I did not see a way to get to the second level without using the stairs. This stay was a thousand times better than the Econo Lodge in Las Vegas, NM.

This is by far the NICEST Econo Lodge that I have ever stayed in. Serious. I didn't really believe all the reviews, but I thought I'd give it a try. All the great reviews were accurate... this place rocks for what it is! I only give it 4 stars, because technically it's a 2-star hotel & the amenities are not quite 5-star. However, if you're looking for a very clean & comfortable room just to spend the night in while you're on the road on a budget... THIS IS THE PLACE! The room & property were clean, the bed was comfortable, everything worked, and the shower was hot. What more do you need for a night? I'll stay here the next time I have to stop through Santa Fe on a road trip. Very friendly staff, too. I had a nice night & got very good rest for my next day on the road.

Econo Lodge From the moment we walked in, the experience was the total opposite of what you usually expect. We were greeted professionally—no short attitude, no rushed vibe, just genuine customer appreciation and care. The lobby was well adorned and honestly felt like a 5-star hotel in presentation. Not to mention the free complementary breakfast, the lady that was in charge of the omelette was sweet kind and you didn’t have to ask, she seen a need and asked if I wanted an omelette that alone makes this experience top-tier. The lady who checked us in and out was professional and attentive, the room was spotless, and everything from start to finish was handled at a high level. Easily one of the best stays I’ve had in Santa Fe, this place is doing it right!

Lovely place to stay. Close to everything. Very cute, clean, great staff, awesome bfast. Absolutely will stay here again.
